My services are culturally inclusive, meaning that I am capable and willing to recognize and engage in discussions around the similarities and differences between myself and client(s) and acknowledge that not all trauma is the same. Race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, abilities, as well as many other identities shape our experiences and how we view the world. By understanding and inviting this context into my practice, I can provide a more transparent and safe space for trauma healing and growth.
My experience is in community mental health, family reunification, and working with families and children in foster care. It is important for clients to get their therapeutic needs met, but also feel that I am invested in establishing a meaningful relationship with them, and partner with them throughout the process. If you have decided it is time to make a shift in your journey, or maybe you are still uncertain, please contact me, as I offer free 15 minute consultations.
